sister/neighbor organizations

Arizona is definitely active and a strong partner with RAF like NMPA is. www.azpilots.org I've been a member for many years. They have a great newsletter, large membership and many events. Utah backcountry pilots are very active as well. And of course, Idaho Aviation Association. Michigan Aviation Association does an air tour each year. California seems to have multiple organizations.

It would be a good addition to post links on our site. We can think about where/how to do so. We have a LINKS page accessed on our FlyNM menu dropdown. Maybe that's the best for starters. Thanks for the suggestion!

Jim/John,

Missouri Pilots Association is really big and is associated with USPA.

Texas Pilots Association used to be associated, but I'm not sure about that group any more. Same with Colorado.

Arizona Pilots Association is big, but I don't believe they are associated with USPA. We do occasionally post each others' activities on our respective websites.

Hi Jim, I am sorry it took so long for me to check these posts! In answer to your question there are seven or eight state pilots associations that are parallel to NMPA, and all ostensibly fall under the umbrella of a Missouri-based US Pilots Association. The state orgs are pretty much independent and variably active, variably viable. I suspect that NMPA is the biggest and most active of the lot, and that it is bigger than the "parent" USPA. Regardless, it would indeed be worth considering cross-links to their websites and newsletters. Is that something you might be willing to pursure? John

Are there equivalent organizations to NMPA in TX, AZ or other neighboring states? if so, perhaps we should cross link on our websites.
